Jonny Wright
Introducing Jonny Wright on vocals
He began at school in a punkish band called 'No Sweat' but on hearing the Blues Band Official Bootleg Album formed his first R'n'B band '12 Bore' who later became 'Malpractice'.
Following a 12 year break he joined his 2 brothers to form 'The Booze Brothers' in 1995. They played for about 3 years before all deciding to call it a day!
He has wanted to get back into a band for the past 10 years or so.....in fact every time he went to see a band - but nothing really came of it.
In the past few months however he has done a few guest spots with Sheikh Ya Mojo, Gary Grainger and recently with the Poorboys! When the chance came up with the Sugar Bs he jumped at it and hasn't looked back!
He loves up beat RnB, The Stones, The Who, Muddy Waters, BB King, Free, Led Zeppelin, Van Morrison, Joe Bonamassa, Vintage Trouble, John Lee Hooker, Santana and many more..............
